Yay for physics and slip-n-slides!
Audition Notice
A new singers group is forming in Santa Cruz, CA currently named, "The Better Thans". You literally need to be just that. We're looking for four new members (two girls and two men) who can really hold their own on a capella singing and accompanied, who are great performers and who want to make a little extra cash. Info Where: Santa Cruz Arts Center 1001 Center Street, Studio B Santa Cruz, CA 95060 When: Saturday March 6th, 1-4pm Please Confirm your attendance. Ya! This is the cutest thing in the world! Rock on little guy! I just love this one. So true, too. We're so heading in a socialist direction with this bill. 32 Countries around the world all danced the Thriller dance at the same time! This rocks! Wow. The things people think up! I really like this one and it's very entertaining, especially if you're a fan of these movies and songs. Not many composers write so eloquently and memorably as John Williams did for these movies. Wow man!! These guys can really hold their own -- listen to those intervals! Man!! So this is really something to see. Watch until she explains it -- very cool. Their summation goes like this: Virtuoso Pamelia Kurstin performs and discusses her theremin, the not-just-for-sci-fi electronic instrument that is played without being touched. Songs include "Autumn Leaves," "Lush Life" and David Mash’s "Listen, Words Are Gone." My hat's definitely off to Mr. David Ford. One straight shot through the whole thing and he does EVERY instrument in the song. Thank God for looping technology. Nice song, too. He'll explain it in the video but some students made a paint that conducts electricity and hooked it up to some killer audio gear and made hands and feet and anything else into synthesizer keys and switches!
